Tokai Industrial Sewing Machine Co., Ltd. broke into the embroidery industry in 1964 with the development of the embroidery machine. Until that time embroidery had been performed only by highly trained craftsmen. A production system that could create the required products upon demand, as well as related equipment, was employed for embroidery machines under the Tajima brand. Tokai Industrial Sewing Machine Co., Ltd. has produced more than 3,000 types of embroidery machines with 1 to 56 heads until now. We are proud of our unique quality control techniques: to ensure abrasion resistance and durability of parts, we conduct drastic quality inspections for all parts used. In addition, we are paying careful attention to our embroidery machines in the assembly lines, regardless of the machine size, in order to maintain precise production.

Tokai Industrial Sewing Machine Co., Ltd. TECHNICAL CENTER

Immersed in the spirit of challenge from prototype development
to completion of the finished product.

The Technical Center was established in 1994 to undertake several tasks to design and develop of new products, technical guidance and after-sale services. In recent years, many developing teams have been organized to design and develop "Operator-friendly" machines with low vibration and super-low noise, meeting our customers' needs. In addition we have organized technical department, quality control, planning and patent departments. CAD and CAE (computer aided engineering equipment), data collection system linked with the Internet were introduced much earlier than other competitors. The Technical Center is also equipped with facilities for evaluation, capable of round-the-clock operation (endurance) tests.

Tajima Industries Ltd.

Placing the arena of business activities overseas, Tajima is striving
to create a global network.

As the general distributor of Tajima brand products, Tajima Industries Ltd. has sold them to all over the world, beginning with Asian and American continents. It is nothing but our distributors' cooperation that supports our sales activities above all. We have established our distributors throughout the world; 3 in Japan and about 70 overseas. In order to promote after-sale-services for customers, we organize periodical technical training and always try to improve technical service level. Further, we offer a variety of cooperation to our distributors to support domestic and overseas exhibitions and enhance our sales activities, based on the markets. Thus we serve for the embroidery markets as a liaison between customers and manufacturer.

Shanghai Tajima Embroidery Machinery Co., Ltd.

Manufactures and supplies high-quality products as the second headquarter for the global markets.

Mass production of embroidery machines started in May 2006 after the factory completion in November 2005, equipment introduction and technical guidance of production technology. The Shanghai factory has introduced in-house processing and production of principal parts of the embroidery machines to manufacture high-quality and price-competitive embroidery machines in the strict quality control system.

Tajima America Corporation-National Headquarters

Nicknamed "TAC", expands business operations for the Anglo and Latin America in the deliberate support system.

This is Tajima's the only headquarter to support all the distributors and customers in the north, central and south American markets. Tajima's KD factory in New York "Tajima Manufacturing (USA) Inc." has also moved to the same site for integrated business operations. Scale expansion and unified management of the corporates have allowed to improve productivity and shorten the lead time.
